The third Monday of the month is when we take a look at game design at the Library! Have you looked at a board game or roleplaying game and thought “I can do that” or “I can improve that”? If you have then this is the place for you. Each month we look at game theory and game design, discuss what new trends we are seeing, and even creating new rules for classic games to put everything into practice.
This Month we are looking at two classic games: Yahtzee and Solitaire. We take the basic rules of each and shift them slightly. What happens when we change the dice in Yahtzee to a different number of sides? What can we do with stickers on playing cards? Expect chaos, fun, jank, and hopefully insights!
