Library Cards

If you live, work, or attend school in Bartlesville, you can have a free library card.

If you live within a 35 mile radius of Bartlesville, you can have a free library card.

To obtain a library card, you must bring a picture id and proof of your address (current utility bill dated within the last month, piece of mail postmarked within the last month, or lease or deed agreement) to the Circulation Desk at the library.

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will be legally responsible for items checked out on the minor’s card. The adult must bring a picture id and proof of address.

Traditional Library Card

Enjoy all services the library provides. Physical books, DVDs, books on CD, The Things Collection, plus all digital library services

Digital Library Card

Enjoy free access to BPL’s virtual, online services anytime & anywhere. Download eBooks, audiobooks, movies and more onto your devices via Overdrive, Libby, Hoopla and Freegal.

Non-Resident Card

Individuals not residing in the recognized library service location may obtain a Non-Resident Card by paying a non-refundable annual fee of $25.00 for an individual. Non-Residents may not use the library’s online database subscriptions due to licensing issues.
