September is the official start of the BPL Fall 2026 Puzzle Season. From September to December BPL will have 4 puzzling events to join in on. For each event you participate in you get an impossible puzzle piece; with four pieces you can make your own Impossible Puzzle. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each event will have their position engraved on their puzzle piece. Individuals and groups are welcome. September and November are Puzzle Races, while October and December are month long Time Trials
Puzzle Race: 1 hour to get as much of a puzzle done as possible. Registration is not required, though the puzzle races are limited to 5 puzzles; so individuals and teams may be combined if necessary to hit the max of 4 people per puzzle so as many people can participate as possible. Ranking is by table; either by completion time, or by estimated piece count at the end of the hour.
Time Trial: Two puzzles are available all month long to check out from the Information Desk. Check out the puzzle, record your start time and your finish time (or request an estimated piece count if you were unable to finish). Do this as often as you wish and then your best time of the month determined 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the event.
This is an all ages event, though the puzzles are usually on the 500-1000 piece range and may be a bit difficult for younger puzzlers.
