We’re excited to announce that overdue late fees are officially a thing of the past!
Beginning immediately, you will no longer be charged overdue fines on library materials and your current late fees have been forgiven as long as you bring your items back.
Why are we making this change?
Because we believe everyone deserves access to books, learning, and discovery without unnecessary barriers. Going fine-free helps reconnect our community with the library while encouraging more people to check out books, attend programs, and enjoy everything the library has to offer.
Here’s what you need to know:
✔️ No more overdue late fees.
✔️ You’ll still need to return your items so others can enjoy them.
✔️ Lost or damaged items are still the responsibility of the borrower.
