Phishing is a cybercrime where emails, phone calls and texts appear to be from reputable sources in order to steal your personal information. Phishing can result in serious financial loss and identity theft. Matt McCollough, Director of Information Technology with the City of Bartlesville, will discuss and show the telltale signs of phishing, and tell you what you need to know to avoid being scammed. This free program will be Wednesday, August 25 at 3 pm and will be a Facebook Live event from the Library’s Facebook page.
