Jerry Barlow to Perform

Join us for an evening of beautiful music and lively storytelling with renowned Celtic fingerstyle guitarist Jerry Barlow. A virtuoso musician, his repertoire is composed of a synthesis of traditional music from the British Isles and his own original Celtic-inspired compositions. An award-winning and critically acclaimed artist, Barlow has performed at numerous art centers, universities, theaters and libraries.

This year’s program focuses on the immigration of the Irish to America during the Potato Famine and the hardships they faced once they arrived. This free hour-long concert will be held in the Library’s upstairs meeting room, Tuesday, October 3rd, at 7 pm. This program is primarily geared for adults, but children over 10 are welcome.
