Foam Roll & Stretch focuses on pain and soreness reduction, increased range of motion, and improved muscle recovery. It can also aid in injury prevention and enhance athletic performance by improving flexibility and circulation.
Contraindications include open wounds, bone fractures, and local tissue inflammation. Cautions should be observed for deep vein thrombosis, osteomyelitis, and myositis ossificans. Additionally, individuals with hypertension, osteoporosis, or those in the inflammatory phase of arthritis should exercise caution.
Equipment (exercise mat, foam roller, and ball) provided. Please bring your water bottle. This class is free and open to the public. It is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (September-April) at 5:15 pm in Meeting Room A at the Bartlesville Public Library.
