Astronomy Day

BAS will have tables with various astronomical images, handouts and other items of astronomical interest; a series of their YouTube videos streaming on the front screen; several example telescopes to help explain how they work and how to use them; a laptop with planetarium program attached demonstrating past and future astronomical events; and other astronomical displays. In addition, if the sky is clear, we will have a SeeStar scope with a solar filter showing live sun images on a monitor in the grass median of the east parking lot.
